Eric & Melissa – Wedding Photo Gallery – Keri Coles Photography – Victoria, BC

Eric and Melissa got married at the stunning Bear Mountain Resort. Getting married on a golf course held extra significance for the couple as Eric is a pro golfer and the two met on a golf course πŸ˜‰ The day went smooth as silk with tons of laughter and joy. They definitely win the best reception of the year award. Eric, Melissa and their wedding party surprised their guests with an AWESOME choreographed dance number. Eric also did some pretty impressive renditions of the worm and the robot. The love in the room was huge and beautiful. The cherry on top for us photographers…the bestman freestyling to us just before we left πŸ˜‰

Thank you, Melissa and Eric, for including us in your extraordinary day to remember!

Ceremony: Bear Mountain Resort

I just love this next series. Hilariousness ensued.

There was a lot of interest from the young ones during the garter getting πŸ˜‰

and I can’t help but adore the sight of a kid that can’t keep their nose out of a book. I LOVE it!

  • ANTI-POP CONSORTIUM

I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant.Β The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them πŸ˜‰ The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance. They were a little over-concerned about burning their name into our brains but they were fairly clever and funny about it which made it forgivable. There…

  • A Special Type of Love.

I pulled an old Remington from my typewriter collection for this special session. Baby Nathan’s great-grandmother was a published poet and she always did her writing on a typewriter. Nathan’s mom has lots of memories of playing away and learning how to type at her grandmother’s. Sadly, while Nathan was still in his mama’s belly, his great-grandmother passed away. We thought this shoot would make a fitting tribute to her.

  • Victoria, BC – Anti-Enbridge Rally

A large anti-Enbridge rally against the Northern Gateway Pipeline happened in Victoria last Sunday. Hundreds turned out to the Legislature lawns before taking to the streets to march to Centennial Square. Once at the square, there was an afternoon full of workshops and panel discussions related to the environment, the energy sector, and effective ways to get involved in the debate. Here are some images from the day:
